Remember the 1980 movie 9 to 5, starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton?  Well, Morris County NOW is screening a new, award winning, documentary called Still Working 9 to 5.  It explores what has and has not changed for women over the last 40+ years since the release of the original film.  Still Working 9 to 5 continues the discussion of sexual harassment and inequality in the workplace, equal pay, and the lack of affordable childcare along with other issues that are as relevant today as they were in 1980. 

Along with clips from the 1980 film, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton comment on the status of the issues women face today.  It also takes us through the fight for the ERA from its beginning until the early 2020’s.  For viewers who were and are still involved in the struggle, it is a nostalgic trip.  For younger viewers it is an educational experience.
